How to Reboot into Clockwork

I am planing to flash my phone with Flashable Stock JK6 - Froyo 2.2 ROM from Flashable Stock JK6 - Froyo 2.2 - *12/01/10* - xda-developers

I don't know how to Reboot into Clockwork, can anybody help me here how to flash this ROM please?

You first have to make sure you have Clockwork installed. I trust you opened ROM Manager and selected Flash Clockwork Recovery?

From ROM Manager you can select Reboot into Recovery. That will, or should, bypass the stock recovery and put you into Clockwork and from there you can flash your ROM.

Sometimes it happens that the stock recovery will come up instead of Clockwork. If this happens select "reinstall packages" and that will flash the update.zip file that Clockwork puts on the internal SD card. That should then bring you into Clockwork.

NOW...you may have to do this twice. Don't freak if it doesn't work the first time. I've never had to do it more than twice however to get to Clockwork.

I hope you have everything backed up before you flash. If you have any doubts or questions, ASK FIRST before flashing.

After copying the zip file to the sd card what exactly i need to do to flash the rom?

Hmm...don't want to be a jerk, but you might want to do some more reading about Clockwork before you go flashing.

The ROM .zip file needs to be on the root of the internal SD card, that is, /sdcard

From there you would reboot into Clockwork (this can be done from ROM Manager) and once there (should be a green menu...if you see a blue menu you are in stock recovery) you can manually choose to pick the .zip file you want to install. I don't recall the exact choices, but it should be obvious enough.

You navigate with the UP & DOWN volume buttons and select with the POWER button. Be sure to pick the correct file. You didn't rename the file, did you? There is no reason to. Some people mistakenly rename it to "update.zip"

Once the ROM is flashed (not long...5 minutes or less) you will be back at a menu. Choose "Go back" and from the subsequent menu choose to reboot the system.

Wait 10 or 15 minutes after the phone boots to start playing around with it. Look around for a few minutes then reboot again. Things should be in order by then.

Have you read about Odin? I would advise you to do so and become familiar with it. If a flash goes bad, and it does happen, Odin might be the only thing that gets you back on your feet.

So how long should this take? I just selected to install Axura 2.1 from clockwork and it is still on "formatting data" and the status bar(i assume that is a status bar) is still all gray after 5 minutes.

EDIT**

Just finally moved and is copying files and now says complete. Shouldnt it rebootnow? Giving me choices on screen for me to do and reboot isnt one of them.

I don't understand your question in bold. Are you stuck in stock recovery, meaning you can't get into clockwork recovery? If you are stuck in stock recovery, do what bovine said, "reinstall packages"

If you are infact in clockwork recovery, and you installed the rom correctly. If it does not reboot on its own, then you can use the volume rocker to scroll down to ( i think its "back") then it takes you back to prior screen, then you can choose to reboot.

hope that helped, but wasn't really sure what your question was.
