Help HTC Droid Eris questions....

So I rooted my phone. I just don't know what to do next. I tried opening the superuser permission app, but the screen just stays black. I'm not sure what it is supposed to do. I want to get rid of some apps that came with the phone-like footprints, amazon mp3, and so on. Can anyone help me please?

The SuperUser app is really designed to protect you from apps that request root user access - it establishes a list of permissions for apps that you allow to run with high authority. Truly the easiest way to remove pre-loaded apps is to use Titanium Backup. When you first run it, the SU app will pop up, giving you 10 seconds to allow Titanium root access - I suggest "always allow". I'd also suggest using their "freeze" feature for those apps first. It will keep the apps on the phone but make the phone not see them. There are apps that you should not remove, and the freeze feature lets you see if anything breaks before you actually remove the app.

For removing apps, check out this thread. They have a list of apps that are ok to remove without causing any problems with the phone's other functions.
