Gameloft Advent Calendar offers free iPhone, Android games until Christmas

This is cool!! als on iPhone and Android games aren't exactly hard to come by at this time of the year, but the folks at Gameloft have cooked up something a little extra special for the month of December. They've just kicked off an Advent Calendar on Twitter, which promises to reveal a free iPhone games, Android games, and a few other surprises every day until December 25th -- plus "a little bit more in the end." While there may be a few duds in there, things have gotten off to a pretty good start

Good game for those that don't have it, definately worth the download. Too bad I already have it...I hope Hero of Sparta or Modern Combat eventually go up on that list.

Hey guy I have problems downloading the game. I get the link from the website. But when I start to download, it goes back to the O2 web page. How can I avoid this?

Turn off background data and you will notice greatly improved speed in almost all games.

Unfortunately, does not seem to be available for the fascinate.

Update: Browsed to the site and it said not available, clicked the on the :Your model is :SCH-i500 Galaxy S, It will bring up a screen to select your manufacturer. select Samsung, then select Samsung GT- i9000 Galaxy S, download the file.

P.S. You will probably want to to do this over wifi, because after you install the apk, the game will want to connect to their site to download additional files.

Make sure you follow the link using your phone and download directly to your phone. The link worked fine for me this morning.

There have been reported problems with the download, which Gameloft says they have addressed. Apparently Dungeon Hunter will be available for another 24 hours because of the problems. For those who had problems, try again.

Yeah link is working fine now. I just needed to restart my phone for some reason. THe game is brilliant!

I was having the same problems. I switched to the default browser and it worked. Opera took me to a web page saying that they were having trouble identifying my phone.

Anyone in Canada has tried this yet? I tried twice and entered my phone number, one with just area code + mobile number and another with 1 + area code + mobile number and I haven't gotten a text message yet. I am using HTC Desire.

That's the link I've been using and it doesn't work for me. I still didn't get any SMS message, I have tried 5 times now. Maybe the server's busy, hopefully it gets fixed later on today.

Apparently Desire is not "supported" so Gameloft suggested changing your phone model to the Incredible to see if that works. But, they also said that because the games are made for specific devices, it has a possibility of crashing.
