Help How to clear/delete completed Events from Calender?

How to delete / completed tasks from calender?
Am using HTC Desire?

Tap the day in the main calendar, then long-press the event. You should see Delete Event on the menu. Lots of things have a context menu available if you long-press them.

Yes, you are right Garry.

But by following this method, we have to delete event by event one by one.

in my SE, there is a feature available "clear all entries upto today" which seems missing in Desire..
Please help

Still to deleting events in HTC Desire calender: I would assume that if you try to delete a single occurence of a repeated event, you will be asked whether you want to delete All events, or just this one. At least, that is what I have seen in my friend's HTC. In mine, though, there is ALWAYS just the only option of deleting it all, and no way to change this ... any idea where this can be changed? Could not find any appropriate settings ... thanks!
