Root Updating, how does it work with rooting?

If this OTA comes out can i just download it or are there steps to be done before?? Whats the protocol? I remember when I had a iphone if you updated you lost jailbreak.

you will lose root as well with any OTA upgrade.

The only hope is that Motorola or VZW didnt patch the way we were able to root before. If they do, then we will be waiting for someone to find another exploit for root.

It's best to wait a while after the update hits for the smart people to find out if it's rootable or for one of them to release an already rooted version of the update.
