is there any type of markets out there that let u download apks... by that i mean download it onto a pc then you put it on the fone or download trhe apk directly from the fone.. and i dont mean like the android market or appbrain

Im not really sure why you would want to download to your pc first, then transfer to the phone, then install. The market is way easier, just download and it installs automatically.

Anyway, no, there are no other markets other than The Market.

Yea, Getjar is your best bet; I don't know of any others like that unless you use the direct to developer route.

Also, some of the larger companies allow you to do this like gameloft where they send youa link to your file once you pay.

I thought getjar.com only has Free apps, not paid ones as well.

Why? What are you trying to accomplish that can't be done in the Android Market? Is there something you need that you can't find an app for it in the Android Market?

yes, I want to try the Soundcloud mobile app but it dusnt show in My market

yea the Soundcloud mobile one...

problem is I can't download it off android zoom as u can't on a mobile... that's why I need the apk or someone kindly upload it to 4shared.com for me

You could just use the old beta on the google code link. I guess what are the rules on apks, someone could always download it and give you the apk i suppose; but i dunno about the rules for that here even for free ones.

the Google one is different and is a paid for app... I don't want Soundcloud droid... got that...

the other one is the official Soundcloud for android app called Soundcloud mobile which is free... that's the one I want....

just a note on the thread for future searches...

don't believe the write up, it works on 2.1 even tho it states 2.2 and above...

it won't show up in market searches on anything under 2.2 devices... but it does work on My HTC wildfire running 2.1
