Alright, I hope this is the right place for this. I'm a relative newbie to flashing ROMs and whatnot, and was using ROM Manager to update to CM6.1 stable. Of course, GApps wasn't flashing with it, so I followed some instructions that I found on XDA and tried to flash GApps separately. Now, my phone somehow has a stock ROM on it (FRG83D), and some non-working GApps (voice search, Market, and a couple others don't work).

Here's my problem: I can't get any of my old apps to load, including ROM manager, so I can't go back to my "backup" that I made. I found a ROM Manager APK online, and got it loaded without a problem. Told it to restore from SD, and everything went smooth, it even flashed the ClockworkMOD recovery without trouble.

Or so I thought. I cannot, for the life of me, get CWM to load. I reboot out of RM, and just the the standard Android-triangle-exclamation mark screen. Any idea what's going on here, and maybe how to fix it?

Thanks!

ETA: I should note that my bootloader is still locked, I just rooted with the SuperOneClick software. Do I need to unlock my bootloader?

Clockwork Recovery doesn't stick when flashing through rom manager if you've done one click root. Mine used to stick for one reboot but then it dissapeared after that. Theres a guide to flashing clockwork recovery manager and making it stick on the nexus one wiki page at xda developers:

Nexus One/Recovery Images - XDA-Developers

You can replace the references to AmonRa with ClockworkMod and just download their recovery image. Once it's installed once it should stick even after updates.

When you root, you're also supposed to delete the following files. The files rewrite stock recovery on boot up, which is why you keep reverting to stock recovery. You can either delete, or just add .bak to the their name (so you can restore, if you wish).

Delete the following via Root Explorer, adb, terminal, etc:
/system/etc/install-recovery.sh
/system/recovery-from-boot.p
