Root What's new in Cyanogenmod 6.1 compared to the RC?

Just as Danfrance says. RC (release candidate) releases are standard in Linux communities and are the developers way of telling the user to expect or even report bugs etc in an RC release. Once the RC has disappeared from the title the developer is satisfied about performance and stability and in most cases has already moved on to working on the next build.

I'd go as far as saying in any software based environment to be honest
