I currently have the seido innocase and like it, but it doesn't fit 100% tight, it moves just enough to bother me. I'd like to have a case about the same size not much thicker but with a rubber backing so I can put it down on my cars console without it sliding. Does anybody have any recommendations?

Amazon.com: Amzer TPU Hybrid Case for HTC EVO 4G (Black): Cell Phones & Accessories

Anybody have experience with this case? I couldn't find any info on here. This sounds like maybe what I'm looking for? Size of the sedio innocase but with a rubber back so I can put it on my car's console with out it sliding around.

This seem like that? I'm not familiar with TPU material so It's hard for me to decide.

Thanks for you help.

I was in the same boat you were. I decided to go with the TPU case. The case material is a cross between a silicone skin and a hard plastic case. Its pretty thin and looks like it would do a decent job of protecting my phone if dropped. I compared the tpu case thickness to my gf innocase and hard plastic case. The tpu is definitely thinner and doesn't add much bulk to the phone. The backing has a rubbery texture so it does have some grip. It allows for easy on and off in case you needed to pull the battery for some reason. Best of all no lint when taking it in and out of pocket like a silicone case. I got two cases off of ebay for $10 with shipping. I would definitely look there for tpu cases. Might also want to check out youtube for some reviews.

No problem. I know what its like trying to find the right case, lol.

There are some TPU cases that are completely glossy and there are others that have a matte backing but the lip surrounding the front of the phone is glossy. One other thing I noticed is that some have individual cutouts for the camera, flash, and speaker while others have a big cutout. I would go with the individual cutout since it offers some protection for the camera.

My problem with cases is they prevent you from using the desktop charging cradles. Currently there are NO cases that allow you to use the desktop cradle, and I have a cradle at home and another at work. So I bought a leather slip-in sleeve from www.htcdepot.com and I love it. I'm used to this type of case from my years with BlackBerrys. Some of my BB's even came with them.

I got this: Smartphone Experts Pocket Pouch for HTC Evo 4G, HD2 - HTC Leather Cases - HTC Accessories Depot

Actually I have a 5" x 5" gel pad that sits on my dashboard area and keeps stuff from slipping. Amazon sells a bunch of different ones for only a couple bucks. But I generally don't leave my phone sitting loose. I'm picking up a universal phone holder/windshield mount from Sprint tomorrow.
