Help Such a thing as "too many" apps? (not talking about the market)

I read on a thread about 2-3 weeks ago that most apps are stored not on the micro sd card but on the phones memory itself (for faster access)... is this true? I try to go through and delete any apps I don't use on a regular basis but it would be nice to go a little "wild" with it and get some more.

I would say right now I have about 15-20 apps... what do you all think about this? i have also read some people claim to have hundreds and I didn't really know what to think of that lol

Its all a matter of personal preference. If you don't want to have 100s of apps, thats your choice. But, I have no doubt, that users on this forum have that many apps loaded on their devices. As long as the app fits on the SD memory, you can choose to load it. And even that may change now that the phone has been rooted.

Just to clarify all Apps are stored on the phones internal memory. Parts of the app can be stored on the SD such as map tiles or pictures but the app itself is on the phone itself.
