Root Step By Step To Froyo Plz

Could any one show me or send me a link to a step by step installing froyo please. Starting from image recovery to installing froyo. i have already rooted using universal Androot. watched some videos and im a little confused. thanks Del

Have you tried searching? RSDLite is what you are looking for.

I recommend following the links below for Froyo install. Just download Froyo 2.2.1 G.O.T. as the "SBF OF YOUR CHOICE." That simple!

Yes I tried it yesterday andit updated with out a hitch using RSDL. I am however getting this weird sound out of my speaker lol... Only happened once this morning after my alarm went off and it was on snooze. Since then I have not heard it again. Anyone else having this problem? The battery life does seem better then when it first came out not sure if something changed or not. It does seem to use up more ram memory then 2.1. I used to have around 100mb free when using task killer and now max I can get free is aprox 60mb with usually 30mb before I hit task killer. I have moved all the apps that can be moved to the SD card. Any other suggestions?

yes, it worked perfectly . however i just have one question. I still have the drawer, isnt it supposed to have 3 icons on the bottom, not the one drawer icon?

Mine does have 3 icons - drawer, phone and internet.

mine was the Telus Canada one, with just the single drawer, not that it really matters, I was just curious, I really wanted it for app2sd, which works great
