Need For Speed Shift

You're lucky. I hadn't enough time too and it force closes on my legend.

however, for those who can't find it: try with market enabler

Thx, found it with market enabler, downloading now. :)

EDIT: It's unstable, tried starting the game a few times but it kept crashing.

Oddly enough if you download and install the files manually off the net it works fine, go figure...

I got a refund.

For those of you who are lurking on this thread with EVOs, this game is perfectly stable on this device. So far, I haven't experienced a single force close, or graphical glitch, or other technical glitch. Although the Galaxy users seem to be reporting issues (both on this forum and in the Market), this game works perfectly fine on the EVO:) In my opinion, this game is easily the best racer on Android. Don't let the price scare you away!

For what it's worth, my EVO is running stock, unrooted Android 2.2.

Don't really want to root my phone, but thanks for the tip about Market Enabler anyway. I guess it must be US-only for now? Hey, at least I bought it before they realised they'd made a mistake - it's just annoying because I'm still on a basic 4GB SDHC card and wanted a bigger one, but I don't want to lose any apps by trading up...

It does run very well on my Desire, though. Some slowdown and glitches on very fast corners with several cars on screen at once, but not that much. It's still really playable - it'd make a pretty good regular game on a PSP, let alone a mobile. If you can find it on the market I highly recommend it.

The game works great on the Galaxy S, just don't get the market version.

If EA don't want my money then I'll obtain working versions of their games from elsewhere.

I guess you downloaded the beta version.

What are you talking about? what beta version?

You can get a new card without losing any of your data. Just copy everything from your current SD card to your pc, put the new card in, and copy everything to the new card.

I purchased and downloaded it from the market the other day no problem, I've searched the market since and it has been pulled for whatever reason.
I just checked and it's there, and they've since added The Sims 3, so there are 4 EA Mobile games in the Market. Once they add Rock Band and Madden NFL 11, their presence will only grow.

the 1.04 version if I remember correctly. it was available since last summer

It doesnt really matter if it's beta or not, it's the full game and everything works, unlike the version off the market.

I can't get working the v1.0.4 on the last ROM (JPX, Froyo 2.2.1) in my SGS.
Someone is having the same behavior?

I'm using it with JPX and it's working fine.
