If you would like to see Blue Droid ported to another ROM, I gladly accept requests and I will see if I or someone else can do so in a reasonable amount of time. I am currently in need of testers or developers to work with me to expand my testing abilities and content. If you would like to test or help in development, please email me at daDesigns@mpmitchell.com.

As always, I am not responsible for anything that happens to your phone and all mods, including this theme and all others, have the possibility of damaging your phone. I will do my best to support my theme and assist with any errors that may be caused by this theme. Please read all instructions and entire thread before installing. Important information can be within the thread in user posts. Please remember that I do this as a hobby after my full time job so please allow adequate time for me to respond to a question or issue. Also, if you like my work and would like to help me continue my work, please donate.

To install Blue Droid, download the package and follow the below instructions:
You should always backup your system before installing any ROM or theme.
  • Copy BlueDroid.zip to your sdcard
  • Reboot into Bootstrap Recovery
  • Install zip from sdcard
  • Choose zip
  • Browse and select zip
  • Install zip
  • When complete, use back button or power button to back up
  • Reboot phone

There is also a goodies pack that contains lots of icons, wallpapers, LP docks, and alternate fonts as well as various themed market apps. To use the extra content in the goodies pack and market apps, download them into a folder on your sdcard.
  • The goodies pack should be extracted onto you sdcard
  • The icons can be applied using Launcher Pro, Desktop Visualizer, Folder Organizer, or one of the many other choices for icon customization.
  • The docks can be used with Launcher Pro.
  • The fonts are in flashable zips so once extracted, they can be flashed.
  • Of course, the wallpapers are applied the normal way using the gallery selection or other tool.
  • To install the market apps from your sdcard, remove the .zip extension and install like any other app. (You must remove any existing version of the app prior to installing)

For more information about how to use Launcher Pro to modify your dock and icons, check out their user guide here.

Will this work on the new 1.9.0 version? Or have you tried it yet? If you need the link I'll send it your way.
It should, Drod did not change the framework like he had planned on. He tweeted that all themes from 1.8.6/1.9.3 will work the other day.

I have not loaded it yet, only dl'ed earlier. Been out Christmas shopping all day with the wife. Mu punishment for finishing BlueDroid last night. I'll load it in the morning, but 99% chance it will be fine.

Are you on the leak or not? Since they are the same now, it will be confusing. I wish he would have left them different and deprecated the 2.2 version when the OTA came out.

My bad! Ugh looks like I have to throw on RubiX 1.8.9

Just when i had Fission dialed in too!

It is always a cycle it seems... a never ending cycle. :)

Do you have just the "blue google" I installed your DarkAndroid and I can't get rid of the GREEN GOOGLE now. Damnit LOL.

Let me know, btw, loved the DarkAndroid, I use Juice though IDK why... I might just load this and then reload Juice though if you don't have just "google"

Stock Google here.
Blue Google here.
Green Google here.

I thought Juice had a blacked out Google. If so, it should have overwritten mine. I may be thinking about another theme though.

Nice looking theme! Looking forward to trying this out if you are able to port it to ApeX.

I am almost done with Tranquility and then it is on to Apex. It is busy though since Drod updates like every week it seems. I love rubiX though. It has run best for me. Hard trying to keep up with multiple ROMs though.

Do you know if this will work on GummyJAR?

I have no idea. If you try and it does, let us know.

Very nice theme. I will have to try this out. Do you happen to be a student at Clemson? I noticed your location was Seneca, SC.

If so, Go Tigers!

No, I work for a software company based in Seneca. My son will be going there in a couple years though.
