Training Seminar??

Anyone get an email offering a training seminar on the Android phones? I just got it today.

I thought the online tutorials would be a great thing to look at ... talk about basic. Everything on there could be figured out in 15 minutes of playing with the phone and looking at this great site. This site has far more usefull info!

Wow. So are they trying to dodge some of the issues both these phones are having by insinuating we need "training"? It is an OS not rocket science. I figured out the Droid in two hours without downloading the User Manual. Do they think we are idiots???

Ok, I get it. Not all users are as savvy and those on the forums...

I am not taking this as an insult ... I think there are a lot of users who dont know there are forums like this out there and will learn from this. Foe the large majority of users on this site, its a big waste of time.

True. Hell, I know about the forum and STILL know very little about this phone. While many here are very knowledgeable on these phones, you have to realize that you guys are more the exception, than the rule.

I got my invite today and I registered to go see what it is like you never know might learn something.

I got the invite today. I thought it sounded interesting until I went to the online tutorials. Everything was very basic... I probably could have used that 2 weeks ago after I first got the phone, but at this point it seems pretty useless.
