Not Receiving Text Messages

I'm not getting texts, I'm in "hybrid mode" and have sent the "allow all" text to 9999. Any other suggestions?

Don't know why/how. Mine did it the second day I owned the phone. My wife would get my texts but I wouldnt get hers.

You'll hear mixed reviews about task killers, but I think I had used a task killer and killed something I shouldn't have.

Hopefully just an aberration then. I don't use a taskkiller so it shouldn't have anything to do with that. Thanks.

I've had my Hero for about three weeks now and have experienced this issue once. Of course, it had to be on a day when I was out of town, and my wife decided to send me about a thousand texts.

I'm going to guess that it has to be more about the network than the phone.

I frequently miss messages from my beau (on Verizon). It's been very annoying at times. He never misses messages from me. I've resolved to power-cycle my phone weekly now, so I'll see if the problem recurs.

I dont know what client you guys are using, but when I tried to use handcent I just absolutely stopped getting all text messages until uninstalling it. I played around with all the settings, disabled native app, but I simply got zero texts.
Now I use chomp, and everything is hunky dory.
