Root RubiX Focused 1.9.5 Released by drod!

Man don't tell me this! I just got settled in with GummyJar and am really happy with it. Now I have to go flash this one??? Awe crikey...

Hey does anyone know if there is a way to back up your home settings on 'Go Launcher'? I have a pretty good grip on flashing ROMs now (after having flashed UDX, Apex and now GummyJar)... my biggest pet peeve is having to set up all my freakin home screens after each of these ROM changes. Takes me all day usually.

I would sooo love to be able to flash a ROM, then open up Go Launcher and hit 'restore' and have all my home screens pop back up again... is there anyway to do that as far as anyone knows?

If not, I may just stick with GummyJar for now if the camcorder is the only real difference.

You should use titanium backup to backup and restore your apps.....it saves me tons of time.

Honestly, I am thrilled that we have so many fine and stable roms. I can recommend this ROM for reliability and stability. Personally, I like the blur dialer (smart dial, etc, and the blur alarm), so I use ApeX or Ssx 1.1, but I tried this one and would recommend it to anyone who wants a hassle free ROM.

I recommend:

1) ApeX
2) Fission
3) RubiX
4) ChevyNo1 Ssx 1.1

For me ApeX is number one, but it is a matter of taste. If you're a rom freak like me, you should try them all. :D

You know I have TiBU, always do a fresh backup before nandroiding, but have never used it once I flash a new ROM. So what do I do after I nandroid GummyJar and flash this one, go into TiBU, click on Go Launcher, and click on the 'restore' button and all my home screens will fly back up like they were when I backed them up?

If that's the case I'll be in heaven!!!! I'll also kick my own ass for doing it the hard way the last 3 ROMs I've flashed!!!!

That's what I do with LP and it works just fine.....the only thing that sucks is that everything gets restored, settings and all except the non-LP WIDGETS.

I could be wrong, but I think that's what he was asking - if there's a way to backup and restore homescreens with Go Launcher like there is with LP. Titanium backup doesn't restore your homescreens.

Titanium does restore your home screens. The non-LP widgets don't get restored due to the limitations of LP itself.

Oh snap it does? I thought it was always being restored through LP. Good to know, thanks.

Where is the option in Titanium to backup homescreens?

I don't think there is a certain option for that. I just backup the app+data and the market link, and when I restore, I just restore app+data. All my home screens, shortcuts, settings and LP widgets I was using are there, it's just certain widgets that I have to re-add because they are blacked out and it says "Problem loading widget" in the widgets place.

I don't know if GoLauncher would behave the same way or not.
