The drivers are stored on the device and accessible via the removable disk device that is mounted when you plug the device in via usb.

To make it works under Windows, modify the android_winusb.inf in the usb_driver folder of android SDK. Add the usb device id of IDEOS to the inf file so that the system will recognize the driver.

thanks a lot. but now i have another problem!
when I connect the phone via usb and switch to debug mode, if I use "ADB devices" from shell, the result is:

List of devices attached
5C4CAxxxxx offline

- i'm under windows 7 x64
- in the system devices the phone is under Android Phone -> Android Composite ADB Interface
- the debug-mode on the phone is on

do u have any idea?

now all works fine.
now the device is online
i've try also ddms and seem works fine

i've just uninstall and reinstall the drivers after edit "android_winusb.inf" with ideos string

there's some problem
seem the devices still online for about 30 second, then go offline

How to do this ? I mean its all readonly there ? How can I do this please help

I am on Windows 7 Ultimate x86 32bit (Dell 15 Studio )

I have located the file in the drivers / adb folder but when i make changes (on my windows, browsing in the usb hidden folder) and save, it says can not save here or something like that

please help

Hi Maqk?

open the text editor which you're using in "Run as Administrator" mode and you'll be able to save.
