Is there an app to backup a listing of all the apps, bookmarks, and widgets on phone?

Apps and widgets - Astro File Manager (free) has an app manager feature that you can use to back up all apps/widgets to the SD card.

AppManager Pro will export a list via email, text, etc., of all apps, as well as back them up.

There's another free app that will do the same, IRRC, but can't remember the name.

aTrackDog will save your app list, as well as export a text file to e-mail or juat about any format you have, but it doesn't save the widgets, and bookmarks, and shortcuts, which would be a nice way of knowing your current phone setup.

aTrackDog is supposed to let you know if a newer version of an app is available, but often when you go to the Market, you already have the latest version that has been released.

That's the one I was thinking of... :)

aTrackdog works well for the list generation, but as you note it suggests updated versions are available that don't appear in the market...
