Hi all, I have been lurking on these forms since early November, but finally decided to sign up today. I'm a videographer/cameraman/editor/photog currently chilling in sunny So Cal near the beach. Still using an outdated flip open Samsung Verizon phone that has served me well enough (I love the flip-open phone design better than any other, for use as a pure phone). I always wanted an iPhone but I'm not planning on leaving Verizon, so Droid has had my attention for a while now.

I was planning to buy a Moto Droid for months in advance, but when I finally got hands on in the store that first weekend, I was underwhelmed. Not a fan of the look, the feel, or the useless flat QWERTY. The HTC Eris caught my attention though, since I am locked into a Verizon contract with no plans to leave, but the battery issues people were having initially on this form convinced me to wait. Well, it seems like most people are happy with it now, so I'm considering taking the plunge.

I love the Sense UI, so the other thing is I was waiting on news of the Passion coming to Verizon, but the latest rumors have it ending up as the Google phone, so again, the Eris seems pretty attractive.

Anyways, I won't be posting a lot, I'm mainly here to observe, and I definitely won't be trying to get involved in any arguements/flame wars or such.
