Pattern lock On\Off Icon

Happy New Year Everyone...

I love my Evo but it has a Giant Flaw...

It does whatever it wants when I put it in my pocket.
If I lock it with a pattern it behaves just fine.

But 99% of the time I don't need or want to mess with the pattern lock. I only really need it when i go somewhere and put my phone in my pocket.

There is a simple easy answer. Just give us an Icon that turns the Pattern Lock On or Off.

Please........

Come on everyone don't you need this too? Chime in and let the developers know and we will all have better phones.

hm I too prefer having a widget to quickly switch the password lock on/off, I could do it previously with switchpro prior to Froyo but that doesn't work anymore.

That's why I figured out another way to achieve it. I use Tasker + the willim stoker password lock plugin to get the result i'm after.

This is one of the few downsides to the froyo upgrade. I now use widgetlocker which does a good job of avoiding "pocket dialing."
