Root power widgets for you notification bar

I was about to start a new thread, but I think it would be more appropriate to just bump this one with some much needed, updated information.

This information is a few weeks old, but important none the less:

[MOD][PORT][4G toggle] Notification Menu Power Control Widgets for Sense - 3.70 OTA - xda-developers

Of course, most ROMs have been updated to use either 2.0 or 2.1 in the above link.

And here's the new stuff:

[App] Power Control Widgets Settings Application - xda-developers

JsChiSurf has made an app ported mostly from the CM settings to customize the notification widgets' behavior. At the moment, it can only be used to change how certain widgets work (e.g. brightness modes, sounds/vibrate modes, etc.). You still have to use widget.txt to select which widgets you want, but he said future revisions will allow for selecting widgets as well. This can be used with any ROM that has the original mod built in, or with any ROM that has the mod flashed. Read the OP for important info about what does and what doesn't work under certain conditions (e.g. when the color selector won't work, and how to use the different screen timeout modes).

thanks guys.. I lost this from my mynn's rom when I flashed a theme and am in the process of getting it back. same goes for my title bar clock lol

the threads above should help me out!

Indeed they will. That's interesting that a theme removed it. Typically, a theme needs to have this included or you just end up stuck at the splash screen or in a bootloop. It actually just removed it?

If you read through the thread, you'll find a bunch of themed versions done by various other people. The version in the OP is the mod itself, meant to be flashed over stock. Not that it matters, but it will undo a lot of other theming. Just FYI on that.
