Um... your "droid" what? Different resolutions produce different dimensions for the icons.

I believe Curt has a DroidX with a resolution of 480x854. If your phone has this resolution, then something else is amiss.

Please read thoroughly Post 1 of this thread.

Off the top of my head, I would guess that you do not have the "Auto-Fit Items" option selected in LauncherPro.

If paul skins it for 480x800 i'll redo it for 480x854 haha.

The one thing I can't figure out is how to get apps off of my phone to play around with.

I want to mess around with switch pro, but don't know how to get it off of my phone since i downloaded it through the market and it is on internal phone storage.

I've been using AppControl by CurveFish to make a backup of the apk. It saves them in a folder called "backups".

Hope this helps!

Sorry its just the regular moto droid 1. I do have "Auto-Fit-Items" checked. I think I found the problem. A few pages back someone posted photoshop templates for adding the text that I used. I didnt realize they where for the droid incredible. Which I believe has a different screen size.

You are correct that they are different resolutions. There are Photoshop templates for the resolution you need in the very first post of this thread: Android Phone 7 Theme - Page 1 - Post 1.

Hope this helps!

hi paul.

would it be possible to skin a gps on/off widget to match the others? curvefish has one I assume is skinnable...I have no idea how to do such a thing though. I have an evo so the res would be the same etc etc.

man, this is by far the most unique theme I've seen yet. great job everybody.

Here you go: View attachment paulmz_Blue_480x800_Android7_GPS_OnOff_v2.1.0.apk

Seems to work okay... I think.

I will also be adding the GPS widget to the entire package link for DropBox:

I tried to do my own tiles for everything, but some of these were already perfect, so I'm biting style:

My favorite part about this whole thing is that it got me to buy widget locker, and I found out that I can still have the htc animated weather on my screen without having to mount the stock clock widget. I've been looking for some way to do this forever

and now that I've seen those great 50's inspired widgets, I want to start scouring the interwebs for cool retro ads and start this whole process over again. wheee
