i have had my Samsung fascinate for about 2 months and the other day i wasnt touching it but it wasnt locked and it just turned green. everything still works, still have the same background theres just a green tint over everything and by tint i mean very annoying lime green that hurts my eyes. i called tech support and all they wanted to do was a system reboot but i didnt want to do that, i have had enough experience with them to know that they dont usual even think it is a solution for ur problem, the system reboot it just the answer they give you when they dont know what else to do. has anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it or is my phone dead?

ya my experiences with reboots haven't been good, i have just lost alot and gained nothing lol so im planning to take it into a wireless store and if their is no visible fix ill let em try a reboot, if not just an exchange. just wanted to come on here to see if anyones been there and possibly had a quick fix.

I wonder if you are confusing reboot with factory reset? Im not saying to wipe data and do the factory reset. But simply rebooting the phone. Never once have ever lost anything with a mere reboot.

yes! factory reset that is totally what i meant/! im sorry, my terminology is all off, stressful day :p i have done the reboot many times, it was the factory reset that i have had many a bad experience with.
OK gotcha, yeah in that case yes thats a messy pickle. Granted it will work but you will lose all data of course. Some of which you can salvage but using something like Titanium Back Up before you do anything.
I assume you also did the battery pull and till have the green screen?
And frankly green screen almost sounds more like a hardware issue which even the factory reset wont cure. Id get it to a retail shop

yup battery pull has been done several times and still green. ya, almost everyone i have talked to has told me that it sounds more like and issue in the hardware :-/ luckily these phones come with the memory chips for pictures and what not but its just a pain to have to re download all the apps what not. ill be taking it into a wireless store hopefully tonight :-/

I have the same exact problem! Is this resolved yet?
I have the Sprint Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch and I know exactly what your talking about. The green 'tint' is the same green color that appears on the top of the phone where the time/battery/4G or 3G along with signal strength bars are when you hit the home button during a call, as if you were accessing an app or looking something up on the net. Today, when my battery was extremely low, this "green tint" covered my phone. It was translucent enough that you could see what was on the phone. As quick as it appeared, it went away. I thought for sure that nobody would believe me, but after seeing your posts, I am glad that it didn't stick around. Are you by any chance using a "Launcher," like an ICS, or Jelly Bean launcher to make your device appear as it's running ICS or etc., if you are, try uninstalling it and see if that helps. I've heard of different launchers having problems, resulting in all kinds of different errors or problems. Hope it helps
