Hey. So I made a stop motion video and want to know your opinions or reaction to it? If you have a youtube account please comment on the video?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-feglNS2EI

I created the entire video in less than 8 hours. That includes taking more than 1600 photos, editing all of the photos to go together, and putting the entire video together. For those reasons, I believe that the video turned out well. This was the first stop motion video I have ever made, and though now I would change a lot of things to make it different, I hope you at least enjoy it :) Tell me what you think!???!

Thanks! haha

Hey,

Very nice for your first video, so congrats on that! I love the concept and find it very intriguing :)

The only criticism I have for your next one (if you decide to make a next one) is that you should try and make it flow a little more. Two examples:
1) You have the girl follow the string into the door of an office (@0:32) and she ends up outside somewhere with nothing behind her. Try making it so that she has some door behind her in the next scene.
2) You have the girl going into the the dumpster (haha, how'd you get her to go into there???) and she ends up climbing a cliff (@0:40)...Try to have her coming out of something from the bottom (like you have her coming out from under a bell in a different scene @2:20)

Things like that I would love to see patched up and then it would be cooler :)

Hope that helps :)

1) I had her come out from around something... but there was someone in the background who screwed up that part so i couldn't use those frames.... Yeah, That's what my goal is
2) It was her idea for the dumpster part lol... she loved the concept of the video and wanted to help out :)

Yeah for a lot of it though I didn't have time to go back and take second shots. Just had to do my first try haha... Found out the project was due the next day so I was like "oh crap" and had to get it done fast :)

Pretty good video. I'm curious, however, as to why there is such a long blank time at the end. Over three and a half minutes worth.

When I exported the final video with Avid, it somehow added those extra minutes. I was just glad to get the final video finished so I didn't really care haha.... will go back sometime and fix that though ;)

Thanks guys ;) yeah, there are about 10,000 people that live in the branson area year round. 1,300 of us (myself included) go to College of the Ozarks which borders branson... visit it next time you are in the area, the campus is beautiful. During non-tourists season the number of tourists in branson hits near 110,000 haha

(and thanks admin for editing that comment...)

yea, I was just messin with you! :p I have a few friends that just moved from Ozark into Branson and a bunch of friends in Springfield. I love cruising around table rock, driving down into eureka and driving to the peel ferry. I am trekking on some new routes this year for the guys to have fun on. Any recommendations are welcome!

Keep up the good work!
