I came from the BlackBerry world, and they have these great charging pods that you can set your device in and it charges it upright. Works great to just keep on your desk and keep the device charged throughout the day without having to plug and unplug a cable.

Any good options for this phone?

BATTERY CHARGER USB AC CRADLE FOR SPRINT HTC HERO PHONE - eBay (item 280442764567 end time Dec-25-09 08:57:06 PST)

Just bought that today on ebay.

Coolio...just checked the link and this is what ebay told me twice.

This listing () has been removed, or this item is not available.
Please check that you've entered the correct item number
Listings that have ended 90 or more days ago will not be available for viewing.

However, I entered the title into the search bar on ebay and found two items that cost a bid price of 24.99 or a buy it now price of 29.99 (is this what you bought today), and if so....please do let us know if it works for you. I had a friend on another forum that said it charged just fine, but the HERO battery wouldn't fit.

I will wait for your word :) Thanks man!!!

Hey...yeah, that link must have been bad cuz I pulled it from 'my ebay' and you need to be signed in as me to see it? Whatever, that is the product i'm talking about.
Hopefully this link works.

I cant imagine how they could screw this up, unless it doesnt slide in easily and the electrical connector wont hook up well. I'll let you guys know what I think when I get it.

Hey all

For anyone still paying attention to this thread, I've recieved the cradle and had a chance to judge it.

So it is what it says, you can charge a battery and hero in this thing.
The phone fits in there well, you cant just 'pop' it in immediately, but it isnt as hard as fishing around to fit the usb in. After a few tries it became a pretty smooth movement getting the phone in and out of the cradle.

Unfortunately the rest of this review is bad. This cradle has to LED lights, one for the phone and one for the battery. The horrible, horrible thing about this unit is the fact that when you dont have a battery in the battery section the LED does this urgent yellow/red flashing thing which is incredibly obnoxious. It's like the designer was trying to piss people off and lose his job. I dont plan to buy another battery, I had to duct tape over that LED light until I can think of a less ghetto solution.

The second LED is blue, and nice at first...but at night it put this blue circle of light on my bedroom ceiling, it was like actually having a light on in the room, I like a dark room to sleep in, I had to unplug it.

I plan to take it to the office or something, just not somewhere I have to sleep.

So, it does what it says, but the LED's really make it kind of ridiculous.
