I removed this post from the SEIDIO thread Cause I was confusing people.
**Sorry for the inconvenience**

I bought a holster shield combo and the screen protectors from a sprint store for 29.68 (they had a buy 2 accessories 25% off for Premier and 10% off for regular customers) I'm not a fan of shields but I kinda liked the back of it which has a carbon fiber look on the back here's some pictures

I picked up this case myself on Saturday. It looks great on the phone, though I don't know how much we'll use the holster. It seems to tighten up the sliding keyboard a little, but it also protects the volume keys from getting accidentally bumped, which I have found happens quite a bit. Overall, I'm very happy I bought it.

Hey Kbrn, saw your post and went to the sprint store today to pick up the same items they confirmed the 25% off but the case was 29.99 and the screen protectors 19.99 putting the total at about $10 more than you paid.

Actually I got the receipt in my hands lol I fixed the price I paid which actually was 2 more dollars.. So it was 29.68 taxes included

I have no idea why is that you paid a 10 buck difference.

The price at my local Sprint Store was the same as kbrn. The case was $21.99 and the screen protector pack was $14.99. Did you go to a Sprint owned store or an Authorized Sprint Retailer? That may explain the price difference.

I went to an actual sprint store, actually 2 of them both had the case for 29.99 the other had screen protectors like you stated for 14.99, can you post a receipt scan, maybe that will help me. thanks

I have both the Carbon Fiber case/holster from Sprint and the Seidio Surface case/holster. I used the Sprint case for a few days until the Seido case arrived. The problem with The problem with the sprint case was that it would come off of my belt. It has an open space at the bottom of the clip that allow the clip to slip off easily. The case itself seem OK... holster/clip design poor. The Seido surface case/holster is better. The clip is well designed. I have owned 4 palm pre seido case/holsters... the top portion of the case that covered the slider would break...very small plastic clips. The top portion of the case for SHIFT is a similar design...we will see how if holds up. So far I prefer the Seidio Surface case. I feel it would have been a matter of time before I "lost" my phone with the Sprint holster.

yes, have both cases... the Seidio Surface is my personal preference. It is slimer and the holster is more secure. It is a little more "slick" feeling. does not have the same texture as the Sprint case (simulated carbon fiber). Overall the Seido get's the nod for me. I am interested in seeing the Seidio "Active" case when it comes out. That may be more durable?

I ordered the this case on ebay sunday and recieved it on wednesday so shipping was fast and should be a good deal if you can't get the low price from sprint.

A couple things:

as was noted the clip does have an open space at the bottom. I've found that to be a non issue. I rarely wear a belt so I usually clip to waistband and I have had no problems and feel very confident it stays put even when removing the phone from the holster. And the phone seems very secure in the holster.

the case does cover the fuction/caps light indicator but that's only if the phone is parralell to your view when its perpendicular you can see the lights.

all in all a fuctional sturdy set up that will hold me over till something better comes along. Not the sleekest sexyest case but not a $50 dollar case either.

why didnt you just get it from the sprint store, if it breaks or gets damaged within a year they give you a new one

I was able to order from my home after dinner along with an extra wall charger and a car charger. Took less than 5 min of my time.

I'd be paying $6 dollars for a warranty on a $18 case. I'm not going to lose any sleep over that one. If it breaks I'm moving on to something else.

You should get a job at the Sprint store you are pretty convincing though :)
