Titatanium Backup and how to root it??

Tried to run Titanium Backup but wants root priviledges and I dont knowhow to do it.
Perhaps because we have tried it without having connected the 2 devices - PC and APad - with the Usb cable.
Appriciate if you can guide us on this issue please.

You don't root the app itself, you root your phone, then use Titanium to backup your apps. Go to the specific board for your phone. There should be a sub-forum for rooting. You'll find the info you need there. Keep in mind rooting will void your warranty.

Before you can install Titanium you first need to "root" your phone which is an entirely different procedure to Titanium.

Rooting your phone gives you superuser access - sort of like an admin account on a Windows machine. It's not a trivial thing and shouldn't be undertaken until you understand the process thoroughly. For unrooted phones, I think MyBackup is currently considered the best backup solution.
