I love the phone but I have a few questions and problems, listed in order of how concerned I am

1. I get 'no weather data available' and thats it, it detects my location but won't give me any weather details on the weather or clock widget.

2. I set up my hotmail account on the mail widget, I get emails but can't send any. (When I first set it up, it said something like 'cannot connect to mail server', I just pressed continue and started receiving emails so everything seemed ok until I tried to send an email).

3. (Not really a big concern) but on the bookmarks widget, the bookmarks all show up with a little picture apart from wikipedia.

If anyone can help me I'd be very grateful! I have the latest ROM installed, and I'm on T-Mobile UK.

Hiya, I got a hero for christmas too.

I found the first issue was the same for me, but that's because I live in a small village, try changing your location to something near, but larger, say the neighbouring town. It is very likely that you will have the same weather anyway, and flick the weather widget to change it to that location... sorry if that is confusing.

Try this to see it works on yours. when setting to outgoing mailbox, untick the check box, and other setting all the same. Works for my hero hinet account.
