i'm embarrassed to ask, but any good ones for 2.1..

cheersZAddy

there is no such thing for 2.1 this company is poised to make alot of money. i use to have a "HTC audio booster" for my old wm touch pro 2 and it was great when listening to pandora or slacker radio. and ive noticed my evo has very flat muddy sound when connected to my car stereo. I wish HTC would build an audio booster for the supersonic lineup

I'm pretty sure the reason why this isn't available for 2.2 is because the API didnt support this kind of fine-grained control over audio.

From: Android 2.3 Platform Highlights | Android Developers

Open API for native audio
The platform provides a software implementation of Khronos OpenSL ES, a standard API that gives applications access to powerful audio controls and effects from native code. Applications can use the API to manage audio devices and control audio input, output, and processing directly from native code.

Mixable audio effects
A new audio effects API lets developers easily create rich audio environments by adding equalization, bass boost, headphone virtualization (widened soundstage), and reverb to audio tracks and sounds. Developers can mix multiple audio effects in a local track or apply effects globally, across multiple tracks.

If you can see it, download it and try it if you want. Though, I suspect the dev just set the requirements incorrectly in the manifest.xml

But I could be wrong -- maybe they have updated it to work on older versions of android. (This used to require rooting and pushing linux system files to the phone, so it seems unlikely they got it working for older devices without root ).
