Hey everyone,
Just thought that I'd make announcement that I'm toying with the fact of leaving my Pre and going Android. I just got a Hero yesterday and so far so good. Somethings are pissing me off but I guess it's like trying to leave an old addiction.

One thing I need is convincing from the wonderful forum members as to why I should leave background processing, WiFi on during airplane mode, why I can't download apps being on WiFi only, along with the fact that I was a homebrew/theme/patch junkie on the Pre I need to know these things on the Hero before I go back to my crack...err Pre.

Thanks

PS. I'm very open so if you say the Hero is better, prove it.

Hey there, I just left Pre and got my Hero about a week ago.. There are a couple things I miss from the Pre, but I like the Hero a lot more.. That being said, I fly all the time and I didn't know that in Airplane Mode I can't access WiFi!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!!?

Evidently there's an app for this that'll go to airplane mode and leave wifi on. At my job I get NO reception but I do get Wifi. For some reason I can't download apps when this occurs.
