So I stopped by my best buy this am and as I got there an AT&T regional rep was there. He heard me talking about the Inspire walked over to me a whipped out a brand new Inspire out of his pocket! He said " Here check it out let me know what you think"
So here is what i saw!
Phone has exceptional fit and finish and feels perfectly weighted in hand. The soft touch on the aluminum is awesome! It feels great size wise also all those worrying about it being to big dont!
The sense UI looks incredible on the amazing SUPERLCD the colors are crisp and vibrant and the text is EASILY legible. Internet usage was awesome on that massive screen
The phone was lighting fast to the touch movement from screen to screen, transitions all extremely fluid. Opening apps was almost simultaneous.
Camera took great pictures and the camera interface was very good, also the added effects were fantastic.
the battery door was a bit hard to remove but grabbing in one corner and pulling from that corner it comes up
sim door was extremely easy to remove
I placed a call and the call quality seemed great clear, crisp no hiss
Signal was STRONG a few others had various AT&T phones and they were between 3 and 4 bars and the Inspire stayed steady at full bars.
Volume rocker was a little stiff but no where near as stiff as some of the reviews made you believe also the power button was easy to depress
I asked him about battery life and he stated he removes it from the charger at 8 am most mornings and he's using this phone as his primary, he gets on the low end with excessive use 8-9 hours. He said Heavy use is constantly emailing about 25 phone calls a day constant texting with youtube and browsing on down time, With moderate to heavy he said he puts it on the charger at bed time probably closer to 12-13 hours!
Finally he made this comment on his own, " The Inspire is the best phone on AT&T I took it even over the Atrix."
