Inspire no contract pricing 399.99?

The spreadsheet isn't per store. There is an internal website that you get all of this stuff from. You are just clueless.

Clearly it's regional, as I just spoke to a store in San Bruno, CA and they state that their internal price sheet shows $499 for no commitment pricing. Guess you're a genius and know better than all stores nationwide.

I just tested this out. I accessed att.com/wireless through a proxy. The proxy is out of the UAE (United Arab Emerites). So att.com thinks I am accessing through Dubai. Pricing on the phones was the same as it is here in the midwest. I do know rate plans can differ but I don't believe phones really do.

Device prices are not usually dictated by region.

Tell ya what. Call ANY store within 100 miles of San Francisco. They have all said that they will NOT sell a phone without a 2 year contract tomorrow under ANY circumstances.

This is why people loathe AT&T. The whole process is so shady and they just don't "get" it... it's why the industry has such a bad name, especially the AT&T stores here locally.

I questioned the sales rep about this since my Premier support rep said "no prob, you can always buy a phone at full price as a replacement, just go into the store".... and he said "well we're not selling them unless you want to add a line or renew for 2 years"... I asked for the manager and spoke to someone claiming to be the manager, and they said the same thing... the funny part was his logic... "due to huge demand for our 4G service" ... I laughed since AT&T doesn't have a technically accepted 4G implementation, but I told him they had piles of them at Frys and hadn't sold one today even though they were already on-sale there. He said he anticipates lines. LOL... Talked to a friend who works for RadioShack and they have 18 in her store and 1 pre-order. There's no demand. I love AT&T's logic.

So tomorrow, I plan on going into the store, buying one and signing up for service, taking it home for 2 hours, getting as much grease and grime on it as possible, taking it back to THAT manager and returning under buyers' remorse. Fu@$ that sh#t... so glad I've moved 4 out of 5 of my lines AWAY from AT&T. This gives me motivation to kill the last of the lines. :)

Why even bother? I don't even understand why you are bothering posting all this on here.

Obviously people here are happy with att, and if you want to rant, why not just do it in the att section?

Their customer satisfaction rating is 67% "Satisfied" or better. I'd say 33% of 90 million (30 million people) NOT satisfied is pretty significant... but whatever. When you all go in to try to buy tomorrow and get turned away you'll be ranting too... but for now, you can dream of getting one for $399 tomorrow. LOL

So if it won't be $399, where did this marketing signage confirming the price come from?
