Hi, I just bought the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 and realized it cannot share internet to a computer via bluetooth or wifi. Is there any apps or anything else which enables it to easy share internet? I have found something called Android wifi tether. But this does not work for Sony Ericsson.
I really need an application for this purpose and I cannot wait until Sony Ericsson's comes with the update for Android 2.1.

Yes it is possible. You need to root your phone (use the Universal Androot application) and then you have many options. I use Barnacle Wifi Tether, an app you can find on the market. For the X10 it didn't work instantly, make sure you have rmnet0 under Wan and athwlan0 under Lan in the settings.

Before rooting your phone I would suggest you read more about it and the (minimal) risks it involves but the great power it gives you!

I have both PDAnet and barnacle just to have options... Barnacle seems slow at times and drains alot of your battery. PDAnet does not drain your battery as it is conected to your laptop via Micro Usb cable.
