Only surprise it is being on vzw in spring 2010.

Also the engadget review said it is only marginally better than the droid in terms of performance.

I love my Droid and according to the guys at the conference "everyone" is getting 2.1 "within a couple of days"

The guys at engadget are heavily biased, and their so called 'reviews' do need to be taken with a grain of salt. Seriously. They have been against google from the start, whats to stop them now?

Yes, Engadget reported something weird about the row of buttons on the bottom of the phone in their review. They said that you would continually press the area near the buttons and that would inadvertently activate the button. The reviewer said that the error was maddening when you are typing stuff. Like imagine typing out some text or email and you accidentally hit the home button without even hitting the home button. That would really mess up your text/email.
