Yeah I havent had the nba league pass, but i had the nfl supercast mobile on droid (same thing dif sport). The nfl supercast I would give a 4.5 only because of how fast they were able to turn around and get it on the droid. Now the nfl was a free app but cost 400 from directv (79 per mnth for 5 mnths). With that said the nfl app as the season progressed i noticed a big lag between sound and picture as much as 35 seconds. Now i bought the directv bcuz i wanted to keep up wit my team while at work so i would plug my droid into my boombox and just listen to the audio, so video wasnt much of an issue for me. As cool as it was i will admit that next year i will be listening to my sports on moodio.fm. Much cheaper, $400 cheaper. :D
As far as the nba league pass, its been getting real low ratings on the market. being that its made by the same company (directv), it is safe to say the lag is still an issue, and a lag wit football you can overcome, but basketball being that its fast paced....I wouldnt download unless it was free.
 is that 49 the final price or do you have to have direct and sign up for the league pass.

I tried it on the My Touch and its was real bad on the streaming video quality. The stats and scores part of the app was very good..However for $40 its just not worth it and reading the reviews they dont update much if ever. You can always try it and just get your refund. And you will be hitting REFUND!:mad:lol

This NBA app should really be about 10 bucks max!

was u just wanting that app just cuz or you really trying to get a decent sports app. cuz if you set up the moodio.fm you can stream local sports radio on your droid. I stream the local san fran radio station to listen to the niners, and my local nashville station for the predators and local college teams. heck of a lot better and free, granted its not live action.

You actually have to set it up and choose your stations on your computer. You go to moodio.fm (i will link it in my next post). It will ask you to choose your stations. I live in tn but am a big niners fan. so i use to check out the knbr site. well on the list it has knbr, and a bunch of the local espn fox radio stations. well 90% of the local stations play the local teams and a lot of them are streaming it online.
once you set it up you then can log in on your droid. When you pick your station do not be alarmed your phone will start dailing (i actually went berserk tryna exit the screen thinkin somebody going to pick up on the other end). but it will ring then play the audio. I compare the audio on my droid to the actual knbr site on my laptop (which is powered by a cable modem) and they were neck and neck.
Its free and if you know the local ny station that plays the knicks just add it to your playlist.
You can only edit your playlist through your computer.

Whats goody... I got the app workin.. and well.. its NOT BADD!! I watched a game that was played the previous night and it worked great. But was still suspect on the live games.

waited till the heat and boston was playing late into the fourth quarter.. selected that game since it was the most interesting and it played well for me..

the lagg that alot of ppl speak of was not bad at all.. at times it was right on point with the audio..and at other times it may have been one second before or after. the video... not bad if you ask me.

there were times when it buffered but ONLY when i had a weak signal.. for some reason i only have weak signal in my favorite chair in the living room lol.. anyway.. when i had full strength or close to it.. the gameplay audio/video was great.. no complaints on my part..

im definately convinced tho that each result depends on your phone.. ive heard on the my touch or g1 that it isnt that great..(also on the motodroid) but i have the mdroid and it works fine. so far anyway.

oh and there are two versions 1.0 and 1.2. i have 1.2. ive heard you can get it for the loke somewhere instead of the 40.. hit me on the gtalk if you got it. bsems09@gmail.com
