Anyone else still not received 2.3.3 OTA?

I'm in London and received mine on Thursday morning - still kicking myself for installing it. My wife, however, still hasn't received hers - and we won't be installing if it arrives either! Can't work out why only one out of two phones in the same house, bought together too, has had the OTA...

I'm still waiting for mine, and I live just up the road from Google's Mountain View campus. If it were geographically rolled out, you'd think I'd get it pretty quick. I also got the phone just as it came out, so serial number wise, mine should be towards the front of the line there too.

It really makes me wonder what criteria they use to decide what order they go in. I'd like to get my 2.3.3 update soon...the reboot issue is pretty bothersome, and it'd be nice to have a screen that shows the proper colors finally. That purple tint has bothered me from day one. Not too thrilled about the contacts syncing thing, but hopefully Facebook will get its act together and fix its crappy app.

You can always root and install CM7. I have 2.3.3 on mine with CM7 and my facebook still syncs with my contacts :D:cool::D, plus all the other great features of CM7

I used to have CM6.1 on my last phone (an HTC Hero) but I'm liking the pure stock experience of 2.3. I'll probably end up rooting my Nexus S within the next few weeks anyways for a work related thing, but I plan on just running a stock ROM with custom kernel, probably one with BFS and overclocking, though I have yet to run into any apps other than benchmarks that would have any noticeable benefit from overclocking.

A little off topic, but why did you choose Netarchy over the various Trinity kernels?

I haven't tried different kernels on my previous Android phones, tried different ROMs but not kernels. Honestly, I just picked one. I like it, it works good for me, so I see no reason to change. I just wanted a kernel with overclocking and the Voodoo enhancement. If there is a benefit to Trinity over Netarchy I would give it a shot, but I'm stable and happy at 1.3 ghz... for now ;)

A big reason for CM7 on the Nexus S: If you like facebook syncing with your contacts it still works on 2.3.3 with CM7, it won't work with stock 2.3.3. Since I have a lot of contact info (phone numbers, etc), and most of my pictures I NEED that syncing.

For me the Trinity kernel gave me a lot of problems. I have been using the bfs netarchy kernel and it has been absolutely flawless. I am also interested in the new honity14 kernel. It's supposed to be able to hand OC much better than others.

The only reason I'd overclock would be to save battery, which only happens if you can overclock without raising the voltage. I've been paying most attention to the Trinity kernels because they seems to focus more on voltages. I've noticed that a lot of people use Netarchy, so I wonder what aspects of it might be better than Trinity.
