my sis works for sprint in HR.. in Dallas tx

she said there was talk this week.. in a memo..
that they expect 40 devices to be released this year. she said they are expect a list of devices released soon.

that includes both dumb and smart phones and tablets and net cards.
that is a lot !!!

3 months has gone by and only 2 has been release.
that means 9 months left to release 38 devices.
which is an average of 4.2 per month!!!

its not true. Last year they said would release 20 android devices we got:

evo, intercept, epic, tablet, optimus, zio and transform

sprint isnt releasing 40 devices this year... they never do. This year we are gonna most likely get:

(in order by apperance)
shift, echo, htc arrive, blackberry playbook, evo 3d, evo view,hp touch pad, epic replacement, lg android phone and the kronus from moto. could be more but not many more. Maybe 2 blackberries the touch bold and a smaller storm but 40 isnt happening.

far cry from 40.

i totally agree that it is a very highly doubtful..
but that is what she said.. i am only repeating it.

this is just me guesing...
8 android devices
8 wp7
3 webOS
2 web os tablet
4 android tablet
2 WP7 tablet
8 dump phones

35 devices

will only be like 4 wp7 devices if that this year
2 web os
1 web os tablet
maybe 3 android tablets depends if a certain on passes quality (dont think it will)
1 wp7 tablet
2 dump phones (when was the last sprint dump phone the servo or whatver?) sprint seems to be lacking in new dumb and feature phones

I don't think its hard to put out 40 devices in a year. They need to realize they need to focus on quality over quantity, but then again what does it cost them to list phones that never sell.

its hard for sprint. I mean its sprint their sales are never stellar and not many companies will give sprint their phones an option. Heck sprint only got the echo because everyone else laughed at it.
