Willing to make wallpapers

Just a quick re-post of this one for tomorrow, as it has fallen quite a few pages back. BTW - I'm working on one more St. Pats one that I should have done sometime today. Stay tuned...

This one is sized at 960x854, and should work well with most Android phones with little or no cropping.

To save it at 960x854, use the download button on the linked page or the share button to email it to an address accessible on your phone, then save the attachment. If your phone wont save it full size, or it looks fuzzy, download and save it with a computer, then USB or email the full sized version to your phone.

^that looks great! might be the closest to the real thing until the bionic wallpaper is released...thanks. any way you can put the droid on there in white? like you did with the other red-background wallpaper?

Sure, give me a bit and check back.

Alright, here it is. I thought the "Droid" should look a little like liquid metal for this one. Let me know what you think.

Edit: Revised by request.

Back again with another of my "vague" requests. :p

I'm contemplating paying for the dock below:
Dreamlyfe Design: .Satin Theme

But I'm not entirely sure what "style" of wallpaper would look good with that dock. (As in landscape, waterscape, something like the one featured in the screenshot, or something entirely different) Would you happen to have any ideas in terms of backgrounds that would look good with that style of dock?

Nothing pops into my head right off the bat... Let me mull it over a bit and see if I can figure something out.

Ok so i tried both of those wallpapers out in my NC and both were very zoomed in. The larger one looked slightly better because of this but for some reason i could not use the entire wall paper. It just wouldn't scroll all the way. As for themes, nothing fancy either a simple pattern or a nature photo.

Hmmm... well, without a size to go on, I really don't know what to do. Nor do I have one to test things on. If I make one for you now, I'd just be guessing, and I doubt the results would be very good. I suggest Googling "nook color wallpaper size" and/or "nook color wallpaper resolution", and get back to me when you figure out a size that works for you. A very brief look at some of the hits look like they deal with the issues you're having.

Sorry I can't be more help...

Could you do one for the Xoom? Can't find many wallpapers for the device.

Possibly a Terminator type wallpaper....Cyberdyne Systems logo maybe?

Would appreciate it much.

I don't suppose you'd happen to know what the ideal wallpaper size is for the Xoom? I've been having some problems when I make tablet ones, with people reporting stretching, cropping, distortion and whatnot. Maybe a pic or a link to one that works perfectly for you?

Thank ya much, I appreciate it quite a bit.
Nothing popped into my head either, I could always do a room layout, but the last one I tried (with the modified couch wallpaper) failed miserably. :/

I think part of the issue, if I'm not mistaken, is that your "home" screen is not dead center of a normal wallpaper. Can you try this template and tell me where in it your "home" screen is? How many lines to the right and left does it take up, and haw many are off screen?

I figured doing it this way would make it easier for you, rather than me trying to explain where it is.

Could someone please make me a Seattle Super Sonics background? I have a G2

Hi willham, and welcome to AF. Sure, I can put something together for you.

Can you tell me a little more about how you'd like it to look? Bright and busy, muted and minimalistic, etc? My albums of previous stuff are linked in the first post of this thread - does anything I've done before look like a style you'd like?

Get back to me and I'll most likely have something for you in about a day or so.

I really like this logo. Is there any way you could make it with a green background? I'm looking for something plain and simple nothing too busy. Sorry if I'm asking for too much.

OK, let's see if this floats. Hope that's not too much going on for your taste. Let me know what you think.

To save it at 960x800, use the download button on the linked page or the share button to email it to an address accessible on your phone, then save the attachment. Improved Wallpaper template, now with native resolution. - xda-developers

He has a template there. Idk if that helps or not. On another forums they seem to think resolution is good at 1920x1408.

These seem hard to find the right ones because of the widescreen and orientation changes.

OK, so that linked template is a Photoshop file, and I don't have PS. However, there is what I assume is a smaller jpeg version, that I blew up to what, from reading around, I think is the right size and aspect ratio. Can you try this out, and confirm that it works?

Save it on your Xoom at the full 2616x1920 resolution.

One other thing to keep in mind - The editor I prefer to work with (Sumopaint) doesn't handle really large, multi-layer images well. But, if this template works, I figure I can mostly work with the center image size, save that as a single layer, then paste that on a full sized pretty simple background.
