My advice is this. Dont.Get.This.Phone. Ive had mine since Friday, by Friday night they decided to send me a new replacement already, but I dont think it is going to help. My data is nearly non existant(had perfect data service on my Moto Droid). Phone service blows with the phone, whereas I could make and recieve calls without issue at all on my Moto Droid. I answer a call on the Thunderbolt and it immediately drops it. I tried the *#*#4636#*#* and switched it to 3g only, no help at all. Signal Strength hoovers around -101 to -110. Even in the bigger town 9 miles up the road where service is much better, I still stay in the mid -90's. My thinking at first was that it was VZW's 4g service. I am not in a 4g area, and that could possibly mean that the phone wont work very well, but I am now convinced it is problems with the phone itself. I am getting my replacement tomorrow or Tuesday and will give it 1 day. If it isnt improved I am demanding that they give me my upgrade back and I will await the Motorola Droid Bionic.
In ending, the worst phone I have ever owned was the Motorola q9m(at least 10 replacements before they decided to just ship me the touch pro), but the HTC Thunderbolt is catching up quickly, which is a shame after patiently waiting 2 months on the release of this beautiful piece of crap. As of now, it is basically a $200 paper weight.
