1700 mAh Extended battery duo!!!

I'd love to hear a few people with some positive feedback on these if they are I'd order one. Do they sell a single battery without a wall charger?

I dont see the option on theyre page...My guess is no...

The reviews are preposterous. I am not surprised. One guy says that in a day he saw more than twice the battery life from the stock OEM. Makes no sense.

Here's what I think. 2 batteries that have 22% more capacity than the OEM? Add a dock charger. Cost is dirt cheap? Too good to be true. I've once ordered batteries off of ebay. They came from China. Worked decently for the first month and then the life of the battery fell of the cliff.

I had the 1800mah for my dInc. I saw better battery life in the beginning but it faded within a few months. I think they are sold in pairs because the quality is really hit and miss. They figure out of the two maybe one will be close to the mah rating. The shipping on my last order was slow and good luck finding any contact information on the site. Good luck to everyone trying these out. I look forward to the hands on reviews.

I don't blame you. I told myself the same thing but ended up breaking my own rule and placing the order. After you register on the site you can get to the contact page. But its just an online form.

I was however able to find his contact info on the net prior to placing my order or I would not have. He's in Daly City Ca. which is right outside San Francisco. I'm 30 minutes away from him.

I also checked the BBB before I ordered, he has 1 filed complaint in the last 36 months.

I don't blame all of the skeptics but some of us are willing to gamble $45 to check these out. We'll soon find out how they perform while new. If they are bad I will return mine.... in person.

Mine mailed on the 4th and I will have them on the 5th or 6th.

I bought the extended batteries for my previous Dinc and put in an order for the 1500 batteries, and I did notice increase in battery life with my Dinc, all else fails (which it didn't before) I like the fact of having a wall charger for $11

I just placed my order via paypal. I emailed chichitek last night and I have to say he was very helpful and prompt in answering a few questions I had. He was also very generous and gave me a really good deal based on my past business with HTC Express and the thread I started here about my positive experience with the 1800mAh battery. Based on the performance of the 1800 I had for my Inc I have no reason to doubt the quality or performance of the 1700. Once I get my battery I will post another review like I did for the 1800. For anyone on the fence who can't afford to possibly take a $45 hit, I would say wait for reviews to come out and make your decision based on them.

On my 1300 stock Inc battery I was lucky to get 24 hours of up time. When I got the 1800 I went 2 days between charges a lot. My best up time ever was 49 hours on Incredibly Re-Engineered 2.2 (have a screen cap to prove it) with 10% left I have nothing other than my word and the thread I started in the Inc accessories section to prove this. To be honest I don't care if you believe me or not. I posted my experience for people who may be interested in purchasing a product, not for people who want to talk shit and dispute a company they know nothing about. Like I said before in this thread, I could care less if you buy one or not. I have had a great experience with chichitek and his battery in the past and based upon that I expect to continue to have a good experience.

It's really simple. If you want to try out some aftermarket batteries, these may be for you. If you don't want to them out then don't buy them. If you want to wait for other users to volunteer to be guinea pigs and see what they have to say before you spend your money, that's fine as well.

Either way...let's not have the juvenile bickering over batteries

I placed a bid and lost and 30 seconds after the auction ended and I lost, I got an email with a 2nd chance offer. Makes me want to stay away from this seller just for that fact.

So much discussion over batteries. I'm taking my phone back on tomorrow. Anyhow, I've had both decent and bad experience with these batteries from this place. Had one that gave better life than the stock. Not double (like some exaggerate) but noticeably better. And on the other hand about the same performance as stock and then life fell off the cliff after about 2 months. So it's hit or miss sometimes. And sometimes you'd be better off buying 5 sets of these things of eBay for 40 bucks that may give you the same life that these do. I for one refuse to keep putting this much thought into battery life. Just won't do it anymore.

That's true but everyone doesn't root. And people shouldn't have to hack their phones or spend 50 bucks to have sufficient battery life for a phone that retails for over 600 bucks. Just my thoughts.

If you're using it as just a phone it it will last multiple days with out "hacking" but it's a mini computer in your pocket if you use it as your phone/gps/mp3/radio/camera/camcorder etc.. how do you think a battery that has to fit into a device that then needs to fit into your pocket is going to fit. ??

I think batter expectation are a little too high on these phones. We're talking about a phone with a very large and bright screen and a ton of features it's going to use power . I think the stock battery life of 8-15hrs is more then fair but since rooting I'm getting 20-30hrs before I even get below 20%

I agree expectations are higher than they should be, but HTC should put bigger batteries in their phones-period!

Agreed I see no reason they couldn't have fitted a slightly larger battery in this phone maybe 1600-1800 but who knows maybe they couldn't bit then again I look at the incredible why the hell didn't they put the evo battery in it from the get go???

you do realize there is an auto setting sellers can use for that right? I can almost guarantee that he isn't shilling on a low price item like this

True, but not everyone is comfortable going through rooting the phone and then downloading a rom and flashing it on their thunderbolt. It sounded pretty easy but thunderbolt is not that easy to root and not a walk in the park like my samsung captivate used to be when it came to flashing a rom.

I never expect an average user to do what I do with the phone. Neither should you. I don't think its fair to ask a novice user to go out and root their phone to get better battery life.
