Verizon Out of Droids?

I called Verizon to get a replacment within the 30 day guarantee because I was having problems with mine. He claims that when he tried to put in the order - no droids were available and that they were out of stock????


What the hell? Is that possible?

Try calling another store? Don't take one guy's word for it. Make sure you get this taken care of before 30 days is up or you'll get a refurb.

also get tech support to note your account. so even if they are out of stok you can still point to something that says "he called before his 30 days were up". that way you can get a new one when they're back in stock.

Manufactured the 44th week of the year 2009.

dang they are flying off the shelves huh. my verizon store had quite a few of them in when i bought my wifes droid and my eris. now they are gone. i went in today to buy a case for my eris, and asked the sales rep how droid sales were going. he said they sold out of droids. i asked how many and he replied "a couple thousand".

The issues that needed to be addressed from prior releases with little irky things should of been addressed with software and better build materials tightness on keyboard. i dont know maybe its just me.
