Blocking Phone Numbers???

I've had my Hero for about 4 months now, and other than the battery issue (I do use it a lot) I'm pretty satisfied.

However since Thursday last week, I've had the SAME phone number call me, have someone jabber at me, and then hang up! I looked up the area code, and it's in Jamaica! Today has been the worst, I've had 5 calls from that same number. Frankly its really started to get annoying.

I called Sprint, and asked customer care if they can block that number from the account. And they can't do that. Apparently blocking that number is an infringement on their rights (?). On my Hero, I've been able to find that I can just push all those calls from that number to my voice mail, but I can't block it from my line altogether.

Anyone else having the same or similar issue that has come up with another option?
Thanks for your time and advice!
=)

How does Afirewall handle call rejection?

I used to use magicall on my WM phone, but it's option was to pick up and drop a call.. which was great, except that if you were already on a call it'd pick it anyway, and then you'd be connected to the people you were trying to avoid.

Can anyone give me feedback about how afirewall handles rejection?

I've currently got all my do not answer #'s stored under a generic contact "DNA" and set to forward to voicemail automatically.

Another easy thing you could do is to add that number to your contacts, then edit the contact, scroll to the bottom and choose to send it straight to voicemail. It will never ring for you again. Hopefully they dont leave a tonne of voicemails :)

That's exactly what I did with a few numbers myself, but I decided to change my number.

Afirewall works great for me, oddly enough i dont show any calls in the blocked call list though. Im sure the blocked #'s didnt just stop calling me altogether though because i've only had the hero about a month and i just imported my block list from CallBlock on my treo and they were actively showing as blocked on that phone.

I've had the same thing happen. I've been getting an average of about 3 calls a week each from two different numbers. These calls have been coming in ever since I got the new number in mid-December. I installed AFirewall about 10 or 12 days ago haven't seen indication that either one has called since.
