Help Link Contacts

I have recently been helping my sister out getting her new thunderbolt working just right and have run into some issue that I never had on my thunderbolt with contact.

I have synced her facebook account to her current contact successfully (after multiple trys) but am now having problems manually syncing contacts that were mismatched because of different names of info. When I try to link manually it gives me the option to choose a facebook or phone contact to link, once selected nothing happens. It just seems to go back to the first screen and asks me to choose a way to link a contact again.

Also, when I want to manually edit the information in a contact it asks me how I want to edit it. This often gives me multiple of the same options, and none of them seem to the have the info that is on the contact card that I want to actually edit.

I found there is a trick when linking accounts using HTC Sense. For example i have a Phone contact and a Google contact, i have this because when my google contact sync the image picture gets distorted or better yet "pixelated". So what I do is create a phone contact with the same name and just add a picture, then link it to the Google contact. But the trick is to select the account (with picture) first then click on the link (then you can search for whatever contact you want to sync to). What i did before was click on the Google (non picture account) then clicked on my phone account and nothing would happen (the picture would not change).

You may want to try that, hopefully thats the problem you are having.

So it's safe to say that contact linking, at least with sense, is really confusing and not completely functional?

I can't even figure out how to deete a hone number from a contact. It shoes it on the card, but it's not in any of the fields. I hate this
