Junior Member, Senior member...uhh ok

Hey I have a random ? for you. What classifies the different membership status of people? Is it number of posts, or the length of time you have been a member, or maybe a combo of both. Just wondering. thanks

Some are determined by the number of posts ... Moderator, Contributor, Admin, etc. are set by the adminstrator and denote special member classes ...

Well there are the administrators, moderators, guides, premium members, senior members, members, and junior members.

Administrators, moderators, and guides are titles assigned to a member for specific purposes.

Premium members are members who purchased a subscription to AF.

Senior members, members, and junior members are based on post count (hopefully I'm getting this right).

Oh and btw... moderators are at the absolute lowest in terms of rankings. :p

So true. :p

I don't think there are any differences between "members" and "senior members" except for the rank. Junior members can't have signatures to prevent spam. ;)

<-----puzzled look on his face....
i must have flunked my junior year.... i am now a member... guess i'm not understanding the "member status" thing either... any clerification???
Contrats esthernrob on getting 100 posts!!! :) Looking at your 'post counts' I believe that once you reach 100 posts, you graduate from 'jr member' and become a 'member'. When you reach 500 posts, you become a 'senior member'.

I believe it's 25 posts to get a signature, for the majority of the members here...getting to 100 posts REALLY hard...since it's like 5% that have >100 posts.

Either that, or some new titles can be introduced at higher levels of posts (like 500, 1000, 5000...).

I agree!!!
1,000 posts = Android crazy
2,500 posts = Android addict
5,000 posts = Android slave
10,000 posts = Android bot
20,000 posts = Android super bot *thinks Steven*

LOL, don't worry, that's not a regular slave, that's a slave with a title - Android Slave! :D

However, I agree here - perhaps "Android Slave" can be replaced with "Android Guru"?

haha, what's wrong with being an Android Slave?

1,000 posts = Android Addict
2,500 posts = Android Slave
5,000 posts = Android Master
10,000 posts = Android Guru
20,000 posts = Android Bot *thinks Steven*

There! Better? lol
