After using 2.0 from mustymod for few times/days, I have thinking that update to 2.0 maybe not best idea for me.

2.0 from mustymod has better responsive for user's operation, less lag felling. better google apps and later android apps. adyno show around 130ms.
But smooth felling may changed after full function come out, since it means more service will running background.

Galaxo that i used till now is little lag while user input. outdated google apps. adyno show around 220ms.
But it can be improved if Drakaz keep updating it with new idea(maybe from xda). and it did have full functions. My daily used apps & data is on it now, and some of them can not running under 2.0. udpate galaxo will keep my data going, no needs to wipe/reset.

My conclusion is, while Drakaz trying to modding 2.0, I wish he can find out why 2.0 is running better on Galaxy and porting it back to Galaxo.
My wish is keep Galaxo going till 2.0/2.1 stable & more market apps support it.

What do you think?:)

I think that 2.0 works smoother just because it is not loaded with all apps, drivers, processes and stuff. So when it get to full version, it's real to expect slower response. For now galaxo is best rom (by my opinion), but I don't think that he can be improved significantly. He is restricted by its platform, android 1.5. But imagine Galaxo2 mod, that is based on Android 2.0!!!!!!!! Sweeeeeet! :-D

I'll second that. I hope mustymod will start listening to others when he reaches the wall about what to do next. I have a lot of requests, but I understand that bringing camera, bt, gps, framebuffer is more important than swap or vm tweaks or black theme :)

I search around the internet for methods and test it on "Galaxo to mustymod", it can be done with some app's help.

1. SMS : from market: Backup for root users
it can backup some sqlite.db from system, but restore to 2.0 failed. than I can put the SMS db manually.
to /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db

2. apps userdata: from market: Tianium Backup
it can backup installed apps, also with the app related data/setting. Than i can restore the apps with data one by one. sometimes has FC, reboot/retry may work.

Now i have transferred my SMS, Mileage data, Game data. pretty happy now.
One thing strange is contact data. I use aContacts as frontend. I resync my contacts from gmail. but aContacts can not show any of them, also star contacts. But after reboot, contact data were all coming back to aContacts.

Now, the data transfer is done.:D
