any hope for you tube??

What are the general thoughts on the built in you tube app? Will it ever work?? The videos are so much clearer on it than the browser but mine hasn't worked since shortly after getting the phone. Anything I can do?? It ALWAYS says this video can't be played.

It is broken, they know it, and are working toward fixing it as soon as they can.

Mine seems to be hit or miss when connected to 3G. If I connect via Wifi, the videos seem to work the majority of the time. I wonder if it's some kind of timeout issue?

Probably that (timeout) is part of what is going on. I don't use the YouTube app much, but in my case, when it refuses to load a video I can click on the same video again and sometimes it will load and play. Sometimes the 2nd time I try, sometimes the 3rd, sometimes the 4th, sometimes not before I get disgusted. That suggests that the problem is something other than the media format or the video/audio data itself.

I have a very reliable source that says the YouTube doesn't work because somebody on the night cleaning crew at HTC tripped on a loose cable and unplugged YouTube.

only works on wifi...............why bother using the phone if I'm at my laptop!!!!
