Willing to make wallpapers

I like the idea, but I'm not sure how well it would work with text icons.
Seems like I always forget to mention something, sorry. >.>

OK, I thought it might look good with the smaller text icons you were using, but I guess not. If I have any other ideas I'll post something up.

Hmm... Not sure I can pull that off, but I'll give it a try. It would really help if you could post a full sized screenshot with the dock. If you can't I'll try to make it work the best I can.

Is this the dock you're referring to?

Edit: Also, just so you know, I don't think the effect will look very good on a scrolling wallpaper other than on the center screen. As you scroll through other screens, it wont line up right with the dock.

I haven't had a chance to try it yet, so don't completely scrap the idea. It might just need a few tweaks. My main worry is some of the longer names not fitting. I'll test it real quick and edit this post in a few minutes.

Damn, I wondered about that. From the screenshot I had from you that looked like an issue, but I assumed there was a little wiggle room allowed for proper icon placement (I don't use any home replacement/launchers). Got any ideas how to make it work, or should I scrap that idea?

No I don't sadly, LauncherPro doesn't allow you to move icons up or down on the dock, so there isn't anyway to offset that. :/

have you thought bout taking the icons into like paintshop pro or something and just moving the text itself in a blank icon square? so it doesnt sit central anymore..

Yeah I did think of that, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to modify the already existing icons. The only reason I'm worried about that is because I paid for the dock/icons and I'm not sure if they have any license restrictions on them. Could just be paranoia, but I would rather not mess with them, just in case.

well cant you email the original creator?

I haven't found any others that I like. :/
Assuming I would be allowed to alter the icons, I would have to change a good few and then tweak them to make sure they fit properly. Right now with exams coming up and other stuff I have to do, my schedule is relatively limited as far as having "free time".
I know I can't send the icons to Eyebeam (or anyone else) though, so that eliminates that option too. :/

Whenever you have time, would you do a couple more in a red and a soft blue? Same floral background, I love that touch! thank you so much for taking your time to do all these for everyone!!!

OK I'm just about to start on your last request. I should have it done in a while. I'm still not sure it'll look great - the best way to do it would be to attach the dock to the wallpaper, thus eliminating having the whole dock usable in a scrolling wallpaper set-up - but I'll do the best I can.

After Dean's, I'll see if I can tweek that dock down some in the .png so the text icons you like will work. Maybe stretch the boxes vertically. Maybe also done tonight...

And no, I wouldn't want to screw with those icons if the creator would disapprove.

I use the "froyo" dock with LauncherPro...its the small 3 icon dock length..

That might be possible, but before we dick around changing a whole slew of icons, where I'd be blindly guessing the correct positioning, let's try this first.

Here's a version that sits lower in the .png frame. I'm not sure how LP will handle this, but give it a try and let me know how it goes.

To save it in full 960x800 resolution, use the download button on the linked page or the share button to email it to an address accessible on your phone, then save the attachment. If your phone wont save it full size, or it looks fuzzy, download and save it with a computer, then USB or email the full sized version to your phone.

I think you'll want the icons on there as well, but I'm not sure what'll work best for you. How 'bout one with, one without, and I'll do two versions so you can decide what works best for you.

I also need to know if you want it sized for one screen 480x800 or full size 960x800.
