Help Facebook video upload?

I took a video today while I was out mountain biking, I thought 720p and all swweeeeet, now I cant find a way to upload to Facebook anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance

I can't believe my Pre had this functionality by Android does not. That's ridiculous. Everything else about Android is flippen sweet.

as far as i know based on my experience with the droid, droid eris/hero & now this, there is no way to upload video to facebook thru the app.

i stated this in another thread but its not an official facebook app like the pre and iphone

What did you state? Some other app? Can you either link to that other thread or re-state it here? Please, of course . I think the reason why we don't have that functionality is because the videos are 3gp or whatever the extension is. I don't think Facebook supports those. We'd probably have to convert them to m4v, mkv, or avi and then upload. Which is ******ed.

i took a video using qik and it posted up to facebook no problem once i get it setup on my qik.com page

Vald, I saw that you can post one up with Qik but this is a video I already took, and I really dont like Qik at all. Facebook does support 3gp I believe because my blackberry used to shoot in 3gp and the videos uploaded fine. Also I attached it to an email and send it and it does not attach ? Anyone also having problem emailing attached videos?

Looked it up and people were complaining Videos do not upload in the reviews, are you sure I can upload videos I already have taken?

You can def do it from a computer, but I would assume that the video is to big to send in it's raw form. Anything that would shrink the video to make it go would also make you lose quality and size. Connect the phone to your desktop and use the original video.

That would make sense, since it is shooting in 720p. Guess there is no way really around this...except for round-a-bout ways (such as going through the PC).

I use Qik. It will upload videos that are already saved on your phone. Reg with Qik today and uploaded last nights video of my daughter doing a bunny hop. Now on my FB wall.

that facebook app for iphone and blackberry and palm webos are all official facebook apps
and ours is not

I could upload videos to my facebook viA my pre plus all the time

You can do it by going to facebook website on your evo, clicking "full site" on the bottom, going to videos, and clicking upload video.

With qik, it only permits a certain quality upload.

There is a way to upload video to Facebook on your Evo. Go to Market and download Video to Facebook.
