Help How to transfer pictures/ videos to my pc ?

If its just a couple files you could just email them to yourself and then open the email on your computer. Or attach your Hero by USB (pull down the notification bar and select mount- I haven't upgraded to 2.1 so I'm not sure if this still applies) then copy and paste the files just like you would from a USB flash drive

If you have trouble get automount.from market. It works great. Treat like a flash drive.

USB cable didn't work. Only pictures downloaded. I bought a microsd card and inserted my SD card into that. Videos did not download. Radioshack guy said this would work. It didn't. Only my pictures downloaded. Videos are too large to email to myself. What next please?

I do not understand why USB cable would not work. That is how I transfer all of my media to and from my Sprint HTC Hero.

Perhaps you are just looking in the wrong folders? I think it would be in a folder labeled "DCIM" so check there for video files.

Plug your Sprint HTC Hero into your computer. Mount it as a USB drive.

Open up Windows Explorer to find your handset as a new connected device. On that device you will find a folder with your pictures and video. Just copy them to your computer. It is that easy.
