Talked with Motorola about Multimedia and 2.1

Valeria: We have recently released a software update for the Droid, however, Motorola and Verizon are working on the new one. We don't have information when it will be released.

Why not just get a dremel and nicely make a cut to fit the covers you speak of?

That's true if you have no clue how to use one. If I had any need for those covers I would cut the plastic of the docking station and it would look like oem.

exactly my point. I don't want to be too harsh, because everyone knows I'd posted a bunch of crap myself.

I just don't get the sudden feeding frenzy on a post that basically says the equivalent of:

"I just checked in with the weather department, and they tell me that they hoped we enjoyed the fact that the sun came out yesterday, and they are working on getting some rain our way, but they're not sure when."

Free design idea for some hardware dev, just make a small plastic strip/tray with a USB extention, it could just lay in/on the Moto dock... build it and they will sell
